The Hunter and the Bear (2 pts)
So there was a fish in a pond, and above the fish there was a bird looking to eat the fish when it jumped. What the bird didn’t realize was that behind it there was a bear that was seeing what was going on and it had every intention to kill the bird when it jumped for the fish. What the bear didn’t know was that there was a hunter behind a tree that was going to shoot him when he jumped for the bird. The hunter had left a sandwich on top of a bag near his foot, which a mouse was planning to eat when he moved his foot away. But what the mouse didn’t know was that there was a cat behind it waiting for it to go for the sandwich. And then it happened. The fish jumped, the bird went for it, the bear caught the bird, the hunter shot the bear and moved his foot in the process. The mouse got the sandwich and the cat jumped for it but missed and fell into a small puddle. The point of the story is to illustrate what a man has to go through to get a wet🐱around him today.

Top Comments:

[1 pts] OP (GinaJehnDV) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here: --- > Don't understand this, it's just a picture of him (Ian Wright) used as a reply to "Scum" ---
[160 pts] This is Ian Wright’s facial expression when he sees his old PE teacher for the first time in many years, and he thought he was dead. The commenters name is Paul Walker, so they’re basically just making the joke ā€œPaul Walker I thought you were deadā€
[19 pts] The picture was taken when footballer Ian Wright was reunited with his old teacher, a man he believed to be his first example of a good person. As he saw him, Ian said: "I thought you was dead". Since Paul Walker (actor) died, the comment is recreating that scene.

I was replying to another post, and realised I have a malicious compliance story here that should be shared on this sub. I was working at an IT helpdesk at a large hospital quite some time ago. We were expected to be at our desks, logged in, ready to take our first call by the start time of our shift. It took about 10-15 minutes to log in, load up and login to 7 different programs, all with different passwords. So really, you needed to be there 15 minutes early. They were shared computers, sometimes you could get away with just locking it and leaving everything logged in and running until your next shift, but if someone else restarts it in the meantime, you had to log in to everything again. It was a constant pain point for us that was frequently raised, especially as for example, when medical staff need to scrub up and scrub down, this is all during their shift time. My manager sends a somewhat passive aggressive email to the team "Hi all, It seems we are still havin...
